Middlesex County prosecutors recently filed criminal charges against an Edison NJ man who allegedly caused a fatal truck accident on a township road.The tragic auto accident occurred on July 25, 2016. Law enforcement is trying to determine exactly what happened in two recent fatal car accidents on the New Jersey Turnpike in Middlesex County. The first auto accident occurred early in the morning during rush hour, just before 7:00 a.m. A motorist died when his car overturned on the outer part of the highway around milepost 89.8 in Woodbridge, NJ. A child was tragically killed after being struck by a bus on a road in Jersey City, NJ.The fatal bus accident occurred a short time before 8:30 a.m. on Kennedy Boulevard in Jersey City, New Jersey. The victim was an 11-year-old boy who actually resided Kennedy Boulevard. He was in the process of walking across the road at the intersection with Neptune Avenue when a commuter bus hit him. Two people were tragically killed in a pedestrian accident on a Bridgewater NJ highway in September 2016, but authorities have yet to charge the driver in connection with the fatal crash. The tragic auto accident occurred on Route 22 in Bridgewater around 3:15 a.m. According to law enforcement officials, the pedestrians were in the process of crossing the highway when a 2004 Toyota Sienna crashed into them. A head-on collision on a roadway in Plainsboro NJ resulted in significant physical injuries to one of the motorists. The car accident occurred around 8:30 a.m. on Scudders Mill Road, near the Bristol-Meyers Squibb campus in Plainsboro, New Jersey. A 49-year-old local woman was driving her vehicle when she suddenly lost control and swerved across a grassy median and into oncoming traffic. The car eventually collided with another motor vehicle, resulting in one of the cars being thrown off the road and overturning in a nearby field. A horrifying NJ Transit train accident at the Hoboken Terminal in Hudson County NJ resulted in significant injuries to more than 100 people, one tragic death, and catastrophic damage to the train station. A worker at a Jersey City rail and shipping facility died after a crane collapsed, causing a container to crush the machine on which he was working. The tragic industrial accident occurred around 1:30 p.m. at the Norfolk Southern Facility, which is located at 125 County Road in Jersey City, New Jersey. According to witnesses, the victim was in the process of using a motorized container handler to lift a massive storage container high above the ground when something went terribly wrong. The container reportedly fell directly on top of the victim’s cab, crushing the machine and the victim.

A young child died after being struck by a car on a roadway in Plainfield, New Jersey. The fatal accident occurred around 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of Park Avenue and West Second Street in Plainfield NJ and just one block away from the Plainfield train station. The victim, a three-year-old girl, was being led across the street in a stroller by her mother when a red Toyota Camry sedan crashed into both of them. A dietary supplements company based out of California has issued a major product recall of vitamins due to risk of serious illness. Pharmavite, LLC, which manufactures the extremely popular Nature Made brand of vitamins, has issued a voluntary recall of several supplements because some of the company’s products could expose consumers to salmonella and Staphylococcus aureus. Subaru, the Japan-based auto manufacturer, recently took swift action to warn some vehicle owners to immediately cease driving cars with a serious product defect. The recall affects 2016 and 2017 Subaru Legacy vehicles and Subaru Outback vehicles, which are some of the company’s most popular models. In fact, the Outback is reportedly the company’s best-selling model in the United States.
